These terms of sale govern the bookings of studios and associated services made via the RentASet platform, published by Norde SRL. They apply to any booking and supplement the Terms of use.
RentASet is a marketplace connecting hosts (studio owners) and renters (content creators). The host is the provider of the rental service and invoices the renter directly. Norde SRL provides an intermediation service and receives a commission for it. Norde SRL is not a party to the rental contract concluded between host and renter.
Prices are shown in euros, all taxes included. The price shown to the renter includes the platform commission (17.5%). The applicable VAT depends on the host's status. The total price, including any selected additional services, is shown before the booking is confirmed.
Payments are securely processed by Stripe. The host is the beneficiary of the payment; the platform commission is automatically deducted. Norde SRL stores no banking data.
Hosts may offer paid additional services (flat rate or hourly), added to the total price. The editing and audiovisual production service offered by the Norde agency has no fixed price: it leads to a contact and a tailored quote.
In accordance with article VI.53 of the Belgian Code of Economic Law, the 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to studio rental services relating to a specific date or period. By booking a specific slot, the renter waives the right of withdrawal for that service. The applicable cancellation conditions are set out below.
Each host defines their cancellation policy (flexible, moderate or strict), shown on the listing and recalled at booking. Refunds are made according to this policy. If the host cancels, the renter is fully refunded.
The consumer renter benefits from the legal guarantee of conformity provided by the Code of Economic Law. The host is responsible for the studio's conformity with its description.
Any complaint can be sent to kriss@norde.be. Failing an amicable solution, the consumer may refer to the Consumer Mediation Service (mediationconsommateur.be) or the European Online Dispute Resolution platform (ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr).
Norde SRL acts as an intermediary and cannot be held liable for the performance of the rental contract between host and renter, nor for the quality of the studios. Its liability is limited to providing the intermediation service.
These terms are governed by Belgian law. In case of dispute, the courts of the district of Norde SRL's registered office have jurisdiction, without prejudice to the protective rules applicable to the consumer, who may bring the matter before the court of their domicile.
