Rent out your studio without changing how you work

Head to the signup page.

1. 1Enter your full name, email address and a password of at least 8 characters.
2. 2Pick « Rent out my studio » as the role.
3. 3Click « Create my account ».
4. 4Open your inbox (and your spam folder if nothing arrives within 5 minutes) and click the confirmation link sent from noreply@rentasetpro.be
5. 5The signup tab redirects automatically to your dashboard the moment the confirmation is detected - even if you click the link from another device.

RentASet uses Stripe Connect to collect payments and pay you out. It's what guarantees you get paid: without Stripe configured, you can't create a studio.

1. 1In your dashboard, open Settings > Stripe account
2. 2Click « Configure Stripe ». You land on the official Stripe form over HTTPS.
3. 3Fill in your details: identity, address, business number (if applicable), Belgian IBAN where to receive payments.
4. 4Stripe validates instantly in most cases, up to 48h for deeper identity checks. Come back to RentASet: status should show « Payments enabled » and « Payouts enabled ».

The « Create a studio » button becomes clickable once Stripe is set. The listing is filled in 7 sub-steps, and nothing is published until you decide it is.

1. 1Basics: short title (min. 3 chars), detailed description (min. 20 chars, this is what visitors see), one or more types (podcast, photo, green screen, voice-over...), city (Belgian autocomplete), full address and postcode. The exact address is only visible to confirmed renters.
2. 2Pricing: an hourly rate, flat-price packages, or both - your call. A package is a named pack with its price, its duration and the list of what's included ("Podcast pack 2h - €150: 2-mic recording, light editing, files delivered"). You can also add paid options or "on request" ones when the price depends on the project.
3. 3Photos: at least one, ideally five to ten. The first one acts as the thumbnail in results. Drag-drop to reorder.
4. 4Equipment: browse the categories (mics, cameras, lighting, backdrops...), set quantity and specify models in the free-text field.
5. 5Availability: switch on your opening days and their hours. A calendar view shows you the whole month - bookings, closed days, blocked slots - and you can block a date in one click or plug in an iCal calendar (Google, Apple) so your unavailability syncs by itself.
6. 6FAQ: answer the questions your clients ask the most (parking, access, gear provided, running late...). They show on your listing and are sent to Google, which can surface them directly in its results. A button offers starter questions to customise.
7. 7Proof documents: ownership deed or owner's permission if you rent, plus ideally civil liability insurance. Visible only to our team.
8. 8Click « Submit for review ». Your listing flips to « Pending review ».

We check the listing quality, document compliance and pricing coherence. It also protects your studio: renters know every place was checked by a human.

1. 1Approved: you get an email and in-app notification. Status becomes « Approved », your studio is ready to publish.
2. 2Changes requested: we explain why by email. You correct the listing and it's resubmitted automatically. No need to start over.

On your studio edit page, toggle the « Publish » button. Three conditions must be met, all visible in the status bar:

1. 1Stripe configured (payments and payouts enabled).
2. 2At least one availability slot defined.
3. 3Admin status « Approved ».
4. 4Once on, your studio appears immediately in the public search and can receive booking requests. You can unpublish at any time with the same button.

1. 1Request received: email and instant notification. You have 48 hours to accept or decline - you are never obliged to accept. Without a reply, the request expires automatically and the renter is notified.
2. 2Accepted: the renter has 24h to pay. Once paid, the date is locked in your calendar and in your synced external calendars.
3. 3Payout: Stripe pays you out automatically on your usual frequency (daily, weekly or monthly, adjustable in your Stripe account).
4. 4Invoicing: the rental is your supply, so you invoice the client. RentASet gives you a summary of every booking with the VAT split, plus the Stripe payment receipt issued in your name - everything you need to draw up your invoice without retyping it.
5. 5After the session: leave a review for the renter and invite them to leave theirs. Reviews strongly boost your visibility in results.
